Product Vice President of Product & Engineering at Atmosera

VP of Product & Engineering owns vision and technical strategy for internal and client-facing platforms while leading unified engineering teams across US and Latin America.

Exec Remote Posted 23 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Atmosera empowers businesses to redefine what’s possible with modern technology and human expertise. Our exceptional experience across Applications, Data & AI, DevOps, Security, and the Microsoft Azure platform enables organizations to accelerate innovation, enhance security, and optimize operational agility. As a Microsoft Partner with seven specializations, GitHub AI Partner of the Year, a member of the GitHub Advisory Board, and a member of the prestigious Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), Atmosera expertly delivers cutting-edge, integrated solutions that deliver business value.

We are seeking a LATAM-based Vice President of Product & Engineering to own the vision, strategy, and technical execution of Atmosera’s core operational and client-facing platforms: AMP (Atmosera Management Platform) and SERA.

As an MSP, we are a services company powered by proprietary software. This is a “dual-persona” platform leadership position. Your primary customers are our internal Cloud Operations and Client Onboarding teams. Your mandate is to engineer platforms that automate internal service workflows, drive AI-assisted efficiency, and protect our exponential scaling capacity. Simultaneously, you will own the client-facing visualization engine (SERA), designing dashboards that clearly translate complex backend operations into a transparent, undeniable “absence of noise” for our end-users.

Beyond technical platform ownership, this role requires a hands-on, “Player-Coach” executive. Operating from Latin America, you will lead our unified engineering organization—spanning our established US teams and our growing nearshore hubs. You will roll up your sleeves to get into the technical weeds while acting as a cultural champion, utilizing high emotional intelligence (EQ) to seamlessly integrate our cross-border teams into a single, high-performing development engine.

Core Responsibilities

Platform Scale & Automated Delivery (AMP)

  • Drive Exponential Leverage: Own the roadmap for our internal management platform, ensuring every feature developed reduces manual overhead and protects our ability to scale revenue without linear headcount growth.
  • Automate Client Onboarding: Transition our service ingestion pipelines from manual quality-control checkpoints to fully automated self-deployments and self-configurations.
  • Establish Enterprise Guardrails: Build platform features that force operational compliance across lateral departments, reducing cross-functional friction through system-enforced Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

AI Productization & Engineering Leadership

  • Unified Engineering Ownership: Lead our international engineering organization from the front, managing talent across both our US and LATAM hubs. You will champion a “one-team” philosophy, ensuring our regional centers operate as deeply integrated, peer organizations designed to exponentially expand our global development capacity.
  • Agentic AI & Operational Skilling: Drive the strategy and development of agentic AI workflows. Focus heavily on building AI agents (utilizing Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry) with specific operational skilling designed to autonomously triage, route, and resolve high-runner alerts, drastically reducing manual intervention for the Cloud Operations team.
  • Accelerate Development Velocity: Take direct accountability for deploying and mandating advanced AI coding tools and methodologies across all engineering teams, sustaining and expanding upon exponential multipliers in development output.

Client Visualization & Success (SERA)

  • Visualize the Value: Lead the development of our client-facing portal (SERA) to accurately reflect the health, security, and optimization of client environments, proving the value of the managed service.
  • Enable Client Success: Build platform features that support proactive, data-backed client retention and expansion strategies, reducing reliance on reactive “heroic effort” from account teams.

Organizational Leadership & Culture (The Intangibles)

  • Cross-Border Cultural Integration: Act as the strategic and collaborative bridge between our US-based engineering/executive teams and our LATAM hubs (including Costa Rica). Erase operational silos and ensure tight cultural alignment across borders.
  • High-EQ Mentorship: Serve as a proactive mentor to Directors, Lead Engineers, and product managers across all time zones. Identify behavioral or workflow bottlenecks and foster a culture of psychological safety, high accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years of combined product management and engineering leadership, specifically focused on internal operational platforms, enterprise workflow tools, or scaling within an MSP, IT Services, or highly complex cloud environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Native or full professional bilingual proficiency in both Spanish AND English. Must possess the ability to conduct complex technical architecture reviews and strategic executive presentations seamlessly in both languages.
  • Global Leadership: Proven track record of managing, scaling, and culturally integrating distributed engineering teams, with specific experience bridging LATAM execution with US corporate strategy.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to 20% internationally to our US headquarters and regional LATAM engineering centers to foster team cohesion and strategic alignment.
  • Operational Scaling: Demonstrated ability to build platforms that drive exponential leverage capacity (doing more with less) and replace legacy IT governance with automated workflows.
  • Hands-On Technical Literacy: Deep, practical understanding of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, modern software architecture, and API integrations. Must possess the ability to engage directly in technical problem-solving with developers.
  • Microsoft AI Acumen: Proven expertise in building and deploying agentic AI workflows using Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Copilot Studio, particularly involving operational automation, automated alert resolution, or LLM-assisted workflow generation.

This is a contractor position in the United States with the ability to work from home but may require travel to a client site.

Atmosera is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We do not discriminate based upon race, religion, color, national origin, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics. All employment is decided on the basis of qualifications, merit, and business need.

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
