Sales Account Director at Level Agency

Leads client relationships and strategy execution for a performance marketing agency, connecting business goals to measurable marketing outcomes across multiple channels.

\_\_\______________________________

Remote - U.S. & Canada Only | Full-Time

Compensation:

  • $80K - $130K USD (U.S.-based candidates)
  • $85K - $145K CAD (Canada-based candidates)

We’re Not Looking for Generic Account Leadership. We’re Looking for a Performance Marketing Leader.

Level Agency is hiring an Account Director with deep performance marketing agency experience — someone who knows how to lead client relationships, connect strategy to execution, and drive measurable business outcomes.

You may be a current Account Director at a performance marketing agency. Or, you may have started hands-on in paid media, analytics, or campaign management before moving into account leadership. Either way, you understand what great performance marketing looks like because you’ve worked close enough to the work to know what actually moves results.

You can speak credibly about Google Ads. You understand how media, SEO, creative, data, CRM, websites, CRO, and reporting all connect. You know how to spot issues before they become client escalations. And you’re confident enough to lead a room without making it about your title.

You’re especially strong when the path to conversion is complex — where lead quality, pipeline, sales alignment, landing pages, and conversion journeys matter as much as media efficiency.

This is not a “status call and recap email” role. This is for someone who can connect client business goals to marketing strategy, push back with purpose, and lead a focused book of accounts with depth — rather than spreading their attention across a high-volume roster with limited depth.

This Isn’t for Everyone.

We’re building something rare: a place where growth, truth, and high performance go hand-in-hand.

You’ll thrive here if:

✅ You’ve led client relationships in a performance marketing agency environment.

✅ You understand how modern marketing channels work together — media, SEO, creative, data, CRM, website, CRO, and analytics.

✅ You can speak credibly about Google Ads and paid media strategy.

✅ You care about client business results, not just campaign metrics.

✅ You can lead a focused book of clients deeply, not manage a huge roster shallowly.

✅ Your default is “I’ll handle it,” even when the work sits slightly outside your lane.

And you’ll struggle here if:

❌ Your experience is primarily brand, creative, ecommerce, or DTC without deeper performance agency experience.

❌ You’ve only managed accounts at the surface level across a very large client load.

❌ You need a narrow job description to know what you should own.

❌ You protect scope before you protect the outcome.

❌ You can’t speak credibly about channel strategy beyond talking points.

About Level

We’re an AI-powered performance marketing agency — built for precision, designed to scale, and powered by a scientific mindset. At Level, we blend strategy, media, creative, and machine intelligence to deliver outcomes that matter. Every time. At scale.

We’ve been named one of Pittsburgh’s Best Places to Work and an Inc. 500 Fastest-Growing Company. Our clients span B2B, education, healthcare, financial services, ecommerce, and more.

Your Role (and Impact)

As an Account Director, you’ll lead performance-driven client relationships across a focused book of accounts. You’ll sit at the intersection of client strategy, marketing execution, internal team leadership, and business impact.

You’ll be the person clients trust to tell them the truth, the person internal teams count on to create clarity, and the person who keeps strategy tied to measurable outcomes.

You’ll:

  • Lead Performance Strategy: Translate client business goals into multi-channel marketing strategies that drive measurable growth.
  • Own Client Relationships: Build trust with senior stakeholders through clear communication, proactive thinking, and sharp strategic recommendations.
  • Connect the Marketing Ecosystem: Help clients understand how paid media, SEO, creative, data, CRM, websites, CRO, and reporting work together to improve performance.
  • Bring Paid Media Fluency: Speak credibly about Google Ads, paid social, and media performance — even when you’re not the person making every in-platform change.
  • Spot Issues Early: Dig into performance trends, ask better questions, and catch problems before they become client escalations.
  • Push Back with Purpose: Challenge client assumptions when needed — always in service of the performance goal, never ego, scope protection, or control.
  • Manage a Deep Book: Lead a focused portfolio of accounts with enough depth to truly understand each client’s business, performance drivers, and risks.
  • Guide Internal Teams: Partner with media, SEO, creative, analytics, and strategy teams to keep work moving, priorities clear, and outcomes aligned.
  • Tell the Story in the Data: Turn reporting, dashboards, and performance analysis into insights clients can act on.
  • Own the Details: Keep budgets, forecasts, timelines, documentation, and communication sharp and accurate.

Requirements

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years in a performance marketing agency. You have agency experience rooted in performance, paid media, and measurable outcomes — not primarily brand, creative, or ecommerce-only work.
  • Account leadership experience in a performance environment. You are either currently an Account Director at a performance marketing agency or you started in marketing, paid media, analytics, or campaign management before transitioning into account leadership.
  • Google Ads fluency is required. You can speak credibly about Google Ads and understand what to investigate when performance shifts, lead volume drops, or conversion quality changes.
  • Modern marketing ecosystem understanding. You understand how paid media, SEO, creative, data, CRM, websites, CRO, and analytics connect to drive outcomes.
  • Paid media strategy depth. You understand how media channels work together, especially search and social, and can translate performance signals into strategy.
  • Client leadership experience. You’ve managed client relationships, led strategic conversations, and presented recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Focused account management experience. You’re used to leading a meaningful book of clients deeply — roughly 3 to 8 accounts — rather than spreading your attention across a high-volume roster with limited depth.
  • Experience with meaningful media spend. You’ve worked with clients spending at least $50K/month in media per client; $100K+/month is strongly preferred.
  • Business-first mindset. You talk about revenue, pipeline, lead quality, conversion paths, customer journeys, and business outcomes — not just CTRs, CPCs, and platform metrics.
  • Low ego, high ownership. You’re willing to build the dashboard, chase the answer, clean up the ambiguity, or step into the gap when the team needs it.

Strong Preferences

  • B2B, lead generation, or complex-sale experience. Experience with longer buying cycles, pipeline quality, sales alignment, or non-DTC conversion paths is a major plus.
  • Meta, LinkedIn, SEO, CRM, CRO, or other channel fluency. You don’t need to be an expert in every channel, but you should understand how they work together.
  • Experience in financial services, healthcare, education, SaaS, or other considered-purchase verticals.
  • Comfort with dashboards, reporting tools, Google Analytics, and data visualization.
  • Experience mentoring account team members or coordinating cross-functional delivery teams.

AI Expectations

At Level, AI is a skillset — not a shortcut. In this role, you’ll be expected to:

  • Use tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Claude, and Perplexity to improve how you work
  • Share your prompts, process improvements, and ideas with the team
  • Experiment regularly and refine your workflows over time
  • Embrace discomfort as part of the learning process
  • Apply AI tools to increase your speed, clarity, and creativity — not to replace thoughtful work

AI should make you sharper, faster, and more strategic. It should never replace judgment, taste, accountability, or a strong point of view.

Our Core Values

  • No Ego, All In

We don’t do “that’s not my job.” We win together, step in where needed, and care more about the outcome than the org chart.

  • Better Every Day

We want the feedback — even when it stings. We test, learn, adapt, and keep raising the bar.

  • Relentless for Results

Activity is nothing without outcomes. We care about the work that moves the business forward.

  • Driven by Truth

We challenge assumptions, follow the data, and tell clients what they need to hear — not just what is easy to say.

Perks & Benefits

At Level, we support our people across the U.S. and Canada with benefits designed to promote flexibility, wellbeing, and long-term growth.

  • Fully remote across the U.S. & Canada, plus monthly WFH stipend and Summer Fridays
  • Generous time off, including unlimited PTO (U.S.), competitive vacation (Canada), and parental/family leave options
  • Comprehensive health benefits, mental health support, and company-paid disability & life coverage
  • Employer retirement contributions (401(k) in the U.S., RRSP match in Canada)
  • Quarterly performance reviews and career advancement opportunities

Remote First

This role is open to U.S. and Canada residents and is fully remote. We are unable to sponsor visas at this time.

Level Is Built on Inclusion

We are committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Level is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer — we celebrate what makes you, you.

Ready to Apply?

Click below to submit your resume. You’ll also answer a few thoughtful questions, so take your time.

We care more about how you think, how you lead, and how you create impact than whether your path has been perfectly linear.

Let’s build something together.

Peu d’ego, beaucoup d’ownership.

Support Customer Success Manager Enterprise at Heidi

Manages end-to-end customer lifecycle for enterprise healthcare clients, driving adoption and expansion of AI care platform across multi-site organizations.

Senior Hybrid Posted about 2 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Who We Are

Healthcare needs a better rhythm: one that keeps care continuous and deeply human. Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that works alongside clinicians to make that possible.

We’re a team of doctors, engineers, designers, researchers, and creatives building tools that help clinicians stay focused on what matters most: their patients.

In just 18 months, Heidi has given back more than 18 million hours to healthcare professionals, supporting 73 million patient visits in 116 countries. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi worldwide.

Backed by nearly $100 million in funding, we’re growing in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health.

The Role

We’re hiring a strategic and commercially astute Enterprise Customer Success Manager to lead the end-to-end lifecycle for our most complex and valuable customers.

Based in Sydney, Melbourne, New York, or London, you’ll own a portfolio of 3 to 6 large hospital systems, health networks, and strategic healthcare organisations (250+ users each), serving as a trusted strategic partner who shapes deployment strategy, drives measurable clinical and operational outcomes, and expands Heidi’s footprint across multi-site enterprises.

This is a senior role. You’ll work closely with Implementation Specialists and Account Executives from pre-sales through to long-term value realisation, balancing strategic partnership with hands-on execution.

What you will do

  • Own the enterprise lifecycle: Lead the full customer relationship from pre-sales scoping and pilot design through implementation, adoption, expansion, and renewal. Build success plans that map customer goals to measurable clinical and operational outcomes.

  • Build executive partnerships: Earn trusted, long-term relationships across C-suite (CIO, CMO, COO, CEO), clinical leadership, IT, and operations. Tailor your engagement to what each stakeholder cares about.

  • Lead multi-site rollouts: Drive sophisticated implementations with formal governance, detailed plans, and cross-functional coordination. Manage workflow change through structured reinforcement: training waves, competency assessments, and coaching.

  • Engage in pre-sales and pilots: Work alongside Account Executives and Implementation Specialists to shape deployment strategy, scope pilots for success, and run customer-facing demos when needed.

  • Translate data into action: Synthesise enterprise usage and outcome metrics into clear narratives. Adjust depth and style for IT, ops, and exec audiences. Use data to decide where to intensify training, redesign workflow, or expand.

  • Own commercial outcomes: Lead renewal conversations with strong value narratives. Identify and execute expansion opportunities backed by adoption maturity and outcome data. Partner with AEs to close.

  • Prove value: Build evaluation frameworks for pilots and rollouts grounded in clinical and operational KPIs. Use outcome data to shape multi-year value narratives that strengthen commercial positioning.

  • Orchestrate cross-functionally: Provide concise, complete context to Product, Engineering, Implementation, GTM, and Support. Surface risk early, drive decisions during ambiguity.

  • Shape the playbook: Contribute to the frameworks, tools, and ways of working that turn complex enterprise programmes into scalable, repeatable rollouts.

What we will look for

  • Experience: 5+ years in SaaS customer success or client-facing roles, with at least 3 years managing enterprise accounts (250+ users, high-value ARR).

  • Full-lifecycle ownership: Proven track record across scoping, implementation, adoption, expansion, and renewal in complex enterprise environments.

  • Executive presence: Builds trusted relationships with C-suite, clinical leaders, and technical stakeholders. Earns credibility quickly.

  • Change management: Experience leading multi-site rollouts that drive genuine behaviour change and sustained adoption.

  • Commercial acumen: Strong on expansion, complex renewals, and contributing to NRR and portfolio growth.

  • Data-driven: Translates usage patterns and outcomes into strategic insights for customers and internal teams.

  • Communication range: Adapts depth and style fluently from frontline clinicians to board-level executives.

  • Pre-sales comfort: Willing and able to scope deals, design pilots, and run demos alongside Sales.

  • Healthcare a bonus: Familiarity with clinical workflows, hospital systems, or large health networks helps you ramp faster.

The Way We Work

1. Build to Last

We design for safety and reliability so clinicians, patients, and our teams can trust what we build every day.

2. Own Your Practice

Ideas rise on merit, not title, and everyone shares responsibility for the standards we set together.

3. Move Fast, Stay Steady

We move quickly but never at the cost of trust. Progress only matters if people can depend on what we make.

4. Make Others Better

Honest feedback, steady support, and shared growth keep our teams improving together.

Why you will flourish with us

  • Flexible hybrid working, with 3 days in the office

  • Monthly $150 AUD benefit to invest in your physical and mental wellbeing

  • Recharge Days after major milestones and busy periods

  • A generous personal development budget of $1000 AUD per annum

  • Become an owner, with shares (equity) in the company, if Heidi wins, we all win

  • A one-time home office setup contribution

  • 26 weeks paid parental leave for primary carers, 18 weeks for secondary carers

  • A fertility support benefit of $10,000 AUD covering IVF, egg freezing or sperm freezing

  • 10 days per year dedicated to supporting clinicians in maintaining accreditation

  • The rare chance to create a global impact as you immerse yourself in one of Australia’s leading healthtech startups

  • If you have an impact quickly, the opportunity to fast track your startup career!

Heidi is dedicated to creating an equitable, inclusive, and supportive work environment that brings people together from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Our strength is in our differences. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and welcome all applicants as we’re committed to promoting a culture of opportunity for all.

Project Management Senior Program Manager AI Enablement at Chime

Owns and executes cross-functional AI enablement programs end-to-end, from design through adoption metrics, driving organizational capability building and change management.

Senior Posted about 2 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About the Role

The Applied AI team’s job is to make AI a trusted co-pilot for every Chimer — so Chime moves faster and builds better. As Program Manager, AI Enablement, you own the programs that make that happen: the networks, resources, and rhythms that move Chimers from knowing AI tools exist to actually changing how they work.  This is a program ownership role, not a coordination role. You come in with a problem and a scope, and you come back with the shape: narrative, roadmap, milestones, success metrics, operating cadence. The programs you run should be able to survive a week without you.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $138,000.00 and up to $190,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Own cross-functional AI enablement programs end-to-end (e.g., AI Champions network, onboarding and activation programs): design, operating cadence, stakeholder activation, and fluency outcomes
  • Go deep on workflow problems before proposing solutions — spend time understanding what’s actually slowing teams down, then design programs and tools that address the root cause
  • Partner directly with teams to build AI-enabled solutions — not just roll them out, but get hands-on in the design and build alongside the people doing the work
  • Set the health model for your programs from day one — success metrics, milestones, and status that lives on shared surfaces without anyone having to ask
  • Drive adoption of AAI-built tools and resources so Chimers can level up without going through AAI every time
  • Build and maintain self-serve enablement resources (e.g., playbooks, golden paths) that orgs can use independently
  • Lead change management for AI enablement work — training, comms, and activation that shifts behavior, not just awareness
  • Build documentation and governance into programs from the start, so nothing depend on you being in the room
  • Measure whether Chimers are actually working differently (fluency progression, adoption signals, and productivity tied to company goals) and report that to leadership
  • Foster collaboration between Product, Engineering, BizOps, and People teams to operationalize the future of work at Chime.

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Experience taking ambiguous problems and building a program around them; narrative, roadmap, milestones, and operating cadence without waiting for structure to be provided
  • History of driving behavior change, not just program completion, and the judgment to know the difference between a launch and a result
  • Hands-on experience building or automating workflows using AI tools — able to walk through something personally built, what broke, and what changed as a result.
  • Experience owning large, distributed programs without direct authority over participants, and keeping them activated and accountable
  • Communication habits that keep stakeholders informed without them having to ask — status on shared surfaces, not surfaced reactively
  • Experience defining program health models upfront: success metrics, milestones, and measurement built in before launch, not retroactively
  • Comfort spending time in a problem before designing a solution
  • Familiarity with common productivity or workflow tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Notion, etc)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience running ambassador, champion, or CoE programs; groups where you had no direct authority over participants but were accountable for their activation and outcomes
  • Background in enablement, L&D, or change management in a technology environment
  • Experience in an internal AI or enterprise AI adoption role
  • Hands-on experience with AI tooling (e.g., ChatGPT, Glean, Claude, Cursor, Gemini)
  • Background in product operations, business operations, or technical program management.
  • Working knowledge of AI governance or Responsible AI principles.

Senior Posted about 2 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About us

Founded in 2017, Wayve is the leading developer of Embodied AI technology.  Our advanced AI software and foundation models enable vehicles to perceive, understand, and navigate any complex environment, enhancing the usability and safety of automated driving systems.

Our vision is to create autonomy that propels the world forward.  Our intelligent, mapless, and hardware-agnostic AI products are designed for automakers, accelerating the transition from assisted to automated driving.

In our fast-paced environment big problems ignite us—we embrace uncertainty, leaning into complex challenges to unlock groundbreaking solutions. We aim high and stay humble in our pursuit of excellence, constantly learning and evolving as we pave the way for a smarter, safer future.

At Wayve, your contributions matter.  We value diversity, embrace new perspectives, and foster an inclusive work environment; we back each other to deliver impact.

Make Wayve the experience that defines your career!

The Role

We are looking for a System Architect -Robotaxi to help shape how Wayve AI Driver is deployed across advanced autonomous driving and robotaxi systems.

This role requires a strong understanding of ADAS / autonomous driving system architecture across vehicle platforms, sensors, compute, safety, and application layers, together with the ability to translate that into clear product and integration architecture. You will help define how Wayve AI Driver integrates into OEM and robotaxi platforms in both hardware and software, while working closely with internal architecture leaders and external partners to ensure a coherent, deployable system.

The role also requires strong judgement on where deployment-specific requirements should influence Wayve’s own product architecture, integration approach, and technical roadmap. You will connect system-level understanding with practical implementation, helping ensure that Wayve’s technology can scale across multiple products, OEMs, and deployment models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define system architecture for deploying Wayve AI Driver in robotaxi platforms and applications.
  • Translate robotaxi use cases, operational concepts, and deployment constraints into clear product, system, and integration requirements.
  • Define how Wayve AI Driver fits into robotaxi systems across compute, sensors, vehicle interfaces, safety mechanisms, and application-layer integration.
  • Identify where robotaxi-specific requirements should drive changes or additions in Wayve’s product architecture, integration strategy, and roadmap.
  • Work closely with internal architecture teams across AI, systems, safety, compute, sensors, and platform to maintain a coherent overall architecture.
  • Partner with OEMs, Tier1s, and robotaxi ecosystem partners on integration concepts, technical scope, architectural trade-offs, and deployment readiness.
  • Support architecture through implementation, including integration planning, technical reviews, bring-up, issue triage, and system-level debugging.
  • Communicate clearly across internal and external stakeholders, driving alignment on architecture, interfaces, assumptions, and key technical decisions.

About You

You are a strong systems thinker who can reason across robotics or autonomous driving systems without losing sight of practical implementation.

You understand how complex products come together across hardware, software, ML, safety, and vehicle integration, and you can turn that understanding into crisp architecture and actionable decisions. You are comfortable working across domain boundaries, aligning different internal architecture owners, and representing technical architecture clearly to external partners.

You combine architectural judgment with hands-on technical depth and strong communication.

Essential

  • Strong experience in system architecture, systems engineering, or solution architecture for autonomous driving, robotics, or complex embedded systems
  • Strong understanding of system architecture across sensors, compute, embedded software, vehicle integration, and safety
  • Experience defining product or integration architecture for complex, cross-functional systems
  • Ability to translate high-level product or deployment goals into concrete architectural requirements and trade-offs
  • Experience working across multiple technical domains and aligning different engineering stakeholders
  • Experience working with OEMs, Tier1s, or external technical partners
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Hands-on enough to support technical problem-solving, bring-up discussions, and integration trade-offs in practice

Desirable

  • Experience with robotaxi, L4, or eyes-off autonomous systems
  • Experience with AI or ML-based driving systems
  • Experience with functional safety, SOTIF, or fail-operational system concepts
  • Familiarity with automotive middleware, QNX, Linux, and embedded platform integration
  • Experience with remote assistance, teleoperation, HMI, or robotaxi application-layer integration
  • Experience bridging internal product architecture and external deployment or customer integration

This is a full-time role based in our office in Sunnyvale or London preferably.  At Wayve we want the best of all worlds so we operate a hybrid working policy that combines time together in our offices and workshops to fuel innovation, culture, relationships and learning, and time spent working from home.

Wayve is committed to creating an inclusive interview experience. If you require any accommodations or adjustments to participate fully in our interview process, please let us know.

We understand that everyone has a unique set of skills and experiences and that not everyone will meet all of the requirements listed above. If you’re passionate about self-driving cars and think you have what it takes to make a positive impact on the world, we encourage you to apply.

At Wayve we’re committed to creating a diverse, fair and respectful culture that is inclusive of everyone based on their unique skills and perspectives, and regardless of sex, race, religion or belief, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, pregnancy or related condition  (including breastfeeding) or any other basis as protected by applicable law.

Security Network Security Software Engineer at Lumin Digital

Design and build automated network security pipelines, tooling, and real-time monitoring systems for cloud-native infrastructure protecting sensitive financial data.

Senior Posted about 2 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Basic Function

Lumin Digital is standing up a dedicated Network Security function within its Risk Engineering group to protect a growing product suite that handles sensitive financial data across multiple product lines. This role exists because the landscape has shifted: in a cloud-native, infrastructure-as-code environment, network security is no longer about managing router ACLs—it is about designing identity-aware policy enforcement, automating end-to-end change management, and building real-time visibility into network activity across both workforce and hosted contexts.

As the Network Security Software Engineer, you will be a domain authority who breaks network security out of the existing Security Engineering and SOC functions, building the specialization from the ground up. You will architect and deliver automated, lights-off pipelines—using agentic development practices and tools like Claude Code—that turn around security changes faster, go deeper than port and protocol in our defense-in-depth story, and extend coverage to the agents our teams create, not just the people who create them.

We are looking for a senior practitioner who will teach us what great network security looks like in a modern, highly-automated fintech environment—not someone who needs to be taught.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Own the architecture, implementation, and continuous improvement of Lumin’s network security program across cloud, SD-WAN, and ZTNA layers—designing identity-aware, policy-driven controls that secure both human and machine (agent) identities.

  • Design and deliver fully automated, end-to-end network security change management pipelines that eliminate manual toil, accelerate change velocity, and maintain audit-ready evidence at every step.

  • Build and operate real-time network telemetry, monitoring, and alerting systems that provide deep visibility into network activity — integrating threat intelligence feeds, cloud connectivity data, and asset inventories into a unified, automated network defense posture.

  • Engineer production-grade tooling and services—including firewall rule lifecycle management, policy drift detection, configuration compliance validation, and telemetry enrichment—using modern backend languages (Python strongly preferred) and infrastructure-as-code.

  • Manage and tune network-layer detection capabilities — including IDS/IPS signatures, firewall rules, and WAF configuration — to ensure high-fidelity signals for SOC consumption.

  • Operate at the leading edge of AI-assisted development: write precise engineering specifications, direct AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor), and review/validate generated output to build secure, lights-off agentic pipelines that the broader team can learn from.

  • Build and maintain API integrations across the network security technology stack (e.g., Cloudflare, Zscaler, cloud-native controls) with reliability, observability, and audit-readiness designed in from day one.

  • Support compliance audit and assessment activities — including evidence collection, control testing, and auditor walkthroughs for network security domains; maintain an accurate network diagram inventory documenting topology, segmentation boundaries, and data flows.

  • Partner with the Security Operations Center, SRE, and IT to ensure network security controls integrate cleanly with existing infrastructure pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and incident response processes; participate in security architecture reviews and contribute to runbook development and operational documentation—raising the network security bar across the engineering organization.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to type, handle, or feel and talk or hear.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

  • Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.

  • Individuals with a disability who are otherwise able to perform the essential functions of the job may request reasonable accommodation through the Human Resources department.

Supervisory Responsibility:

None.

Position Specifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Network Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Preferred certifications: CCNP Security, PCNSE (Palo Alto), AWS Solutions Architect, Cloudflare certifications, or equivalent. Relevant certifications are valued but not required if depth of hands-on experience is demonstrated.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in network security engineering, with a demonstrated track record of designing, automating, and operating network security controls in cloud-native or hybrid environments.

  • Substantive hands-on engineering experience: you write production code, build integrations, and ship tooling—not just policies and diagrams.

  • Direct experience with network security platforms such as Cloudflare (WAF, Workers, Rulesets, Terraform provider), Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA), Palo Alto, or equivalent tier-one solutions.

  • Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or other regulated financial services environments (PCI-DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001) strongly preferred.

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD-driven infrastructure provisioning.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Required:

  • Deep expertise in network security fundamentals: firewall policy design, micro-segmentation, ZTNA, SD-WAN, DDoS mitigation, traffic analysis, DNS security, and certificate/PKI management.

  • Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools and workflows (Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent)—or demonstrated eagerness and aptitude to adopt them as a primary development methodology.

  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Python strongly preferred; Go or similar considered) with the ability to design and build production-grade APIs, automation frameworks, and integration platforms.

  • Thorough understanding of identity-aware network security—designing controls that authenticate and authorize not just users but services, workloads, and autonomous agents.

  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, precise engineering specifications and technical documentation; comfortable operating on a distributed, async-first team where written clarity drives outcomes.

  • Sound engineering judgment: able to evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security implications, and maintainability; able to architect systems for reliability and observability.

  • Strong cross-functional communication skills: able to translate network security requirements into actionable engineering work and influence peers across Security, SRE, and Platform teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience building real-time telemetry, monitoring, and threat detection pipelines for network traffic.

  • Familiarity with agent-to-agent authentication, service mesh architectures, and securing AI/ML workload communications.

  • Experience integrating threat intelligence feeds and automating indicator-of-compromise enrichment into network defense workflows.

Travel:

  • Minimal, generally 12 days or less per year (~2 team get-togethers per year).

$145,000 - $175,000 a year
